CCAT is anchored by the following three principal partners - SPAWAR Systems Center San Diego (SSC SD), California State University San Bernardino (CSUSB) and San Diego State University (SDSU). These organizations jointly oversee the administration of the program. In particular:
- SPAWAR Systems Center, San Diego serves as the government partner providing program oversight and support for technology evaluations, requirements definition, introduction to Department of Defense program acquisition managers, etc.
- California State University San Bernardino and San Diego State University manage activities of their respective regional Center - CCAT San Bernardino and CCAT San Diego. The Centers with SSC SD and other key supporting organizations (listed below) provide customized commercialization services to competitively selected clients through the nationwide solicitation process.
